It is always a pleasure to welcome Alexander McCall Smith to the shop and this year we celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the first publication of The No1 Ladies’ Detective Agency with a new title in the series, The Colours of all the Cattle. As ever we will no doubt also be regaled with tales of Bertie, Isabel Dalhousie, the Scotland Street mob and the other wonderful characters that people his imaginary worlds.
